The Management Plan for Water Quality Control of the South District Reservoir in 2020

The project continues the contents of the 108 project and complete the assessment and research on the pollution load of reservoirs, research and development of reservoir water quality control policies, development and support of innovative reservoir water quality management technologies, tracking of the management foresight project, and continuous evaluation of the effectiveness of the Penghu Reservoir MSL Model Plant. Five major projects. The current results show that: (1) The main sources of pollution in Chengcinglake Reservoir are domestic sewage from public toilets and surface runoff wastewater from golf courses, and surface runoff even causes local algal blooms. Electrolysis test results of domestic wastewater show that the electrolysis method can effectively reduce the phosphate in domestic wastewater. (2) Based on the aforementioned pollutant load assessment and survey results, develop water quality control policies for reservoirs and propose solutions to the problems faced by reservoirs. Continue to review the representativeness of water sampling locations for reservoirs, and convene a conference to consolidate the opinions of reservoir authorities for subsequent changes in sampling locations by the EPA. And develop planning proposals for environmental water quality monitoring based on Taiwan's Environmental Water Quality Monitoring Program 2021. (3) Refine drone water sampling specifications and technical guidelines; develop low-cost water quality monitoring systems and transparency alternatives to continuous monitoring, and conduct in-situ water quality measurements on drones and suspended sampling bags for reservoir water sampling. (4) Completed the evaluation of the effectiveness of the MSL experimental model and the testing of the conditions, which proved that the MSL system can effectively purify the water in the reservoir and improve the safety of drinking water, which is a reference for the subsequent implementation of MSL system.
